This Emissions Calculator will assist you with completing your greenhouse gas emissions inventory.

The spreadsheet uses the emission factors from the current edition of the National Greenhouse Accounts (NGA) Factors.

Simplifying calculation, the spreadsheet makes the assessment of your emissions as easy and straightforward as possible.

The spreadsheet will automatically select correct greenhouse gas conversion factors (once you have chosen your relevant state or territory) and calculate your emissions. The tables created in the spreadsheet can be copied directly into your progress report.

We advise you to save the file to your computer before opening it. You can do this in Internet Explorer by right clicking on the link below and selecting ‘save target as’. When the file is opened, you may see a warning that the file contains macros. For the spreadsheet to function correctly you must click on 'enable macros'.
