Greenhouse Friendly™ Administrator

The Greenhouse Friendly™ Administrator performs the role of a consolidated Verification Administrator for all Greenhouse Challenge Plus verification activities. The Administrator is the Snowy Mountain Engineering Corporation Australia Pty Ltd (SMEC), and the main contact at SMEC is the:

The Greenhouse Friendly™ Administrator's role includes:

• approving the selection of verifiers to undertake verification services in relation to each application or report
• assessing applications for product or service certification and abatement project approval
• reviewing verification reports and Greenhouse Friendly™ participants' annual reports
• making certification and approval (and re-certification and re-approval) recommendations to the AGO
• managing the Greenhouse Friendly™ Life Cycle Assessment Panel and the Greenhouse Challenge Plus Panel of Independent Verifiers
• providing technical advice to the AGO as required.
