ACT Government
The ACT Government supports and leads the community to make an important contribution to climate protection. As individuals there is a range of things we can do to meet the challenges posed by climate change. Collectively our efforts are magnified. The ACT Government looks forward to continuing to participate in the CCP program, and to making a significant contribution to sustainability and climate.

Future greenhouse abatement actions
- The ACT Government is in the process of developing a Climate Change Strategy to replace the current Greenhouse Strategy. The focus of the strategy will be to:
- Avoid taking actions that produce or increase greenhouse gas emissions;

- Adapt to unavoidable climate change by managing risks and taking early action where this will reduce future costs to the community.
