Allometric relationships are presented for above ground components and coarse root mass of white cypress pine (Callitris glaucophylla) and scrub leopardwood (Flindersia dissosperma) - a sub-dominant species in poplar box woodland communities of central Queensland. The root:shoot ratio for white cypress pine is approximately double that recorded for eucalypt woodland ecosystems in adjacent agro-ecological zones. Stand allometrics are presented based on data for 17 white cypress pine stands. The above ground biomass/stand basal area relationship was 4.341 t/m2 basal area. This is very close to the value recorded for one scrub leopardwood stand (4.308 t/m2), but appreciably lower than the relationship earlier noted for 59 eucalypt woodland stands (6.306 t/m2).
