Installation of solar power systems
Competent designer and installer
To be eligible for funding under National Solar Schools, the solar power system must be installed by a person accredited for design and installation of photovolaic systems by the Clean Energy Council (CEC).
A licensed electrical contractor must carry out the electrical work associated with the wiring in the building and in the power system, in compliance with regulations in the state or territory in which the installation is undertaken.
When the project is completed you are required to submit a final report including an Installation Report for any solar power system.
See Part 7 of the Guidelines for full details of 'Solar power system requirements' under the National Solar Schools Program, and Part 8 for 'Reporting and acquittal' requirements.
