Registration
Eligible schools
Government and non-government schools are eligible for National Solar Schools funding if they are state registered primary and/or secondary schools and are eligible to receive Australian Government general recurrent grants payments under the Schools Assistance (Learning Together - Achievement Through Choice and Opportunity) Act 2004.
Only school employees may register or submit a claim on behalf of their school.
Kindergartens, early childhood centres, preschools, TAFE colleges and universities are ineligible for National Solar Schools funding.
How to register
National Solar Schools has a simple two step process under which eligible schools can register online.
The Department is introducing a centralised general grants management system. This will make it easier to access the full range of departmental grant programs.
Schools will need to complete a general registration for the department before they are able to register for National Solar Schools.
Once your school has completed the general registration and established a username and password you can log in at the Grants Login page to register for National Solar Schools.
